Every time you purchase from Three Acre Farm, you are helping “Flowers Feed Families” right here in our community.
I’ve been an active volunteer at Buist Community Assistance Center since 2013, when I felt a calling to “love my neighbor”. I have witnessed firsthand how the Buist CAC has changed and transformed lives… including my own.
While I’m passionate about helping people grow and thrive in their lives, I realize growth is stunted unless basic physical needs are met first (just like plants!). Making sure everyone has access to fresh, nourishing food is the first step to building stronger families, stronger communities and a stronger future.
Who They Are:
Buist Community Assistance Center is an independent, non-profit organization founded in 2008, serving residents of Byron Township south of 68th St. and Byron Center Public School district.
Compelled by God's love, Buist CAC strives to:
Love our neighbors by providing food & clothing
Spread hope by treating all with dignity and compassion
Assist partner ministries in serving their communities
What They Do:
Connect community members with ways they can love and serve their neighbors. The Buist CAC team is 97% volunteers.
Provide free food and clothing. Our food pantry consists of dry goods, meat, dairy, fresh produce, and personal care products. Our pantry is client-choice to provide dignity. Quantity is determined by household size.
Compassionately listen to clients share about their situation, educate on resources available/applicable, while sharing encouragement & prayers.
Assist other non-profit groups in meeting needs in their communities by providing food and resources. Buist CAC partners with over 30 other organizations.
